The Club held a fund raiser for Kane Leonard on Sunday 24 April 2022, to send him on his way to Tasmania in October as part of the Redland Bay Special Olympics Golf team.
Over $4500 was raised through raffles, sponsors, sausage sizzles and just plain hard work by Rhonda Chapman and her team of helpers. Well done Rhonda and congratulations to all the winners on the day.
Overall winners with a great net 51.667 were Barry Newman, Trevor Jamieson and Tod Smart.
Runners up were the happy group – Bob Harnett, Shane Cardile and Kevin OMalley on 56.333.
There were some great shots for nearest the pins and Kev Rodgers celebrated his 85th birthday with one of them.
